Next 7 days (Through Saturday)...

There is a moderate chance for frost through early this morning
for locations along the foothills and the higher hills over
southeast Montana.

Conditions will trend drier into Tuesday, outside of occasional
pieces of energy bringing isolated shower and weak thunderstorm
activity to the mountains and far east in the afternoons and
evenings. Monday may see breezy conditions near the Dakota border,
with a 20-40% chance for gusts up to 35 mph. Late Tuesday into
Wednesday, a stronger wave is expected to impact the region,
bringing a better chance (30-60%) for showers and thunderstorms
as well as breezy winds (gusts 30 to 45 mph) over the foothills
Tuesday and over the east Wednesday.

Through the end of the work week, occasional pieces of energy
will continue to move through the flow, allowing isolated
afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms to continue.
Heading into the weekend, there are hints that upper troughing
moves onto the West Coast, inducing southwest flow over the
region, with a better potential for daily thunderstorms.

Highs today will be in the 60s to low 70s, increasing to mostly
80s by Tuesday. Into the weekend, temperatures look to decrease
into the 70s to low 80s. Archer

Discussion 1130Z...Pockets (Isol-Sct) of mid level ceilings have
been noted from KLVM to KBIL and KSHR. There has been no
indication of fog developing, and the risk seems quite limited
with sunrise soon. Look for VFR conditions today and surface winds
under 15 mph. BT
